It puts a ton of pressure on you to be all in during that period and for you to see change rapidly. It can happen, sure, but on things like confidence, mindset, and anxious attachment, they’re all related to our nervous system which takes time to rewire. Like we’re talking months to years. Most of us can’t afford to be in a one on one context for that length of time and life goes in seasons of how focused you are on healing. For me, I think the baseline should be a resources you have access to all the time (and can afford all the time) and then be able to add one on one as needed, like a beautiful cherry on top. The upside is that you get to develop your own self-trust by guiding yourself through the program as well. It’s a win-win.
